The growing amount of traffic on Europes roads and motorways not only demands well structured multi-lane routes but also high-performance protective fixtures. Precast concrete safety barriers are an optimum solution when safety requirements and the traffic loads, especially heavy traffic, are high. |
Modern concrete safety barriers combine the divergent requirements made with regard to high retention capability and resistance to lorry crashes with the lowest possible loads for passengers in cars. |
This was proved in successful impact tests based on DIN EN 1317-2 at the german Federal Road Authority (Bundesanstalt für Starßenwesen, BASt) for our new connection system HP 180. Naturally, the relevant german guidelines (RPS, TL-BSWF, TL-PS, TL-TS) were also satisfied. |
